Marcus is the toughest kid on the block, and meets Agumon after the Digimon escapes from DATS and Marcus beats him in a fight. Marcus even punches Kokatorimon in the face.

Later in the series, we learn that his father was one of the researchers who discovered the Digital World a decade before. Spencer Damon is revealed to be alive--and linked to the power of Yggdrassil!
